Rustom Padilla's Being Gay
Rustom’s being gay is today’s fact, but yesterday’s big shock not only for ex-wife Carmina Villaroel but also to everyone. I personally wasn’t really into gossips at all. And I don’t really care if they are true or not. For me, this is just a way of people’s habit. People subconsciously talk about others and their lives. But when it comes to Rustom’s case, I just really can’t get my ears off from people who endlessly talk about him. I was in fact, one of the most surprised people when Rustom finally put off his shawl. I wonder how Carmina went through the issue. Perhaps, if not because of Zoren, she would have gone crazy believing in a nightmare which shows everyone that her man is now a sister.
What else about Rustom? Well, I wouldn’t have got shocked that terrible if he wasn’t a Padilla. I mean, he belongs to a family known for being tough men. His elder brother Robin Padilla is famous for his action movies. How in the world happened that Rustom is now for comedy-gay films. Of course, no one is entitled to judge or condemn Rustom. We all have our own identity. The public actually is starting to like the new Rustom Padilla. I often hear from my friends that Rustom is a lot prettier than his ex-wife Carmina especially when he showed up in one of the most prestigious award nights wearing a lady-look formal top (which is color pink) plus high-heeled shoes. Maybe this is what really for him because a lot of guys find him better being in that outfit.

Rustom is now offered to do several movies which will surely disclose all about his being feminine. He is actually good in comedies. It’s as if he acts effortlessly he could get the audience’s attention. Rustom also made appearances in TV shows and people are now getting used to his new image.
There is still no additional news about Rustom on Carmina or Carmina on Rustom. They decided to remain silent about the issue and the best thing that they are doing now is that they respect each other’s privacy. With that, the two find his/her own happiness.
I am thinking of a beautiful screen name for Rustom that will best suit his image, it’s something that rhymes with his original name. It could be as simple as Rose or as tricky as Risse Tammy.
What matters about Rustom’s being gay is not his name or his past life. He doesn’t step on to other people; he deserves everybody’s respect for a real happiness that he has found for himself.

‘THE MAKING OF ME’ 6 PART SERIES,,,GOOD LUCK GUYS,YOU MAY FIND THAT YOU ‘TOO’ ARE GAY
Gay is GAY…we can’t do anything about it. It’s not a matter of chance but a matter of choice and I believe he is extremely happy of who and what he is as a person and we should be happy for him because he made the right decision for his life, and befor its too late, he is now enjoying the kind of life he deserve…pero in fairness, dapat maaga ka nagladlad para fresh ang beauty mo dayyy hindi ngayon na ewan, dami na wrinkles….hehehehe wagi kah!!!

“To each; his own”. Whatever we do to this one life is what we will be answerable to the One who gave this life to us –our God, our Maker.
Rustom did what he thought was a better choice, and I believe, he is responsible enough to this choice–the consequences and all end-results allied with his “coming out.”
Stephen Covey said: “We have the freedom to make a choice, but we have no control to whatever consequence our choice will have.”
I have nothing against a person’s courage to come out in the open and admit his real sexuality. In the case of Rustom, he perfectly knew that some would accept him as he is and some would not. Simply, we cannot pleae everybody. If we try to please all, we are on our way to failure.
Being gay is not what the Maker intends a man to be–this is Biblical. But freedom was given by the same Maker to His creation. So Rustom has the freedom to decide whether or not to live as a straight man; however, he chose to live as a gay man.
If he becomes happier, well, happiness is always a state of the mind. What is sure is that at the end of the day, Rustom goes back to his bedroom and, alone, he is the only one capable of determining whether or not he is genuinely happy.
Being gay is a tough job. Very, very tough. And I’m sure, a gay man, should he desire to have a re-birth on earth, would always choose to live a straight normal guy–the real artwork and concept of the Maker.
I wouldn’t congratulate Rustom for coming out because it is what he should have done earlier. What I would like to congratulate is his courage to admit his sexuality. Another thing worth congratulating is his attitude towards accepting all consequences of his choice. And lastly, I would congratulate him further if he still brings pride to his Maker despite his being gay. Pride in his perseverance to showcase his best potential as an artist and as a genuine member of the Philippine nation.
More power!
