If there’s something worse that seeing two ex-couples pulling our legs when they’re in front of the camera, it’s them crying in front of the camera to show how much they appreciate each other.

Just recently, Martin Nievera cried in an interview of him and Pops regarding their upcoming comeback concert. He struggles to say amidst tears how he admires his ex-wife’s strength of character and how amazing she is as a friend and a person.

As if that’s not enough for the interviewers to feel awkward, Pops later on joins him in crying and saying how amazing he is, and how good a friend he is. Honestly, while I was watching the interview, I think the only thing missing is a girlfriend high-five—you know, you high-five and that you say, “go girlfriend!”. I’ve never seen anything more gay that ex-couples weeping about each other and their past relationship.

The interview was about their upcoming concert, but did anybody bother to ask anything about that? Of course not. No one’s interested in the concert if you’re seeing two adults who are supposedly mature and over their past problems weeping in front of cameras and millions of televiewers just because they appreciated each other.
